The hostel is located in Lower Gudauri, in the village Qumlistsikhe No 77. Our location on Google maps - 42º27'30.8"N 44º29'16.5"E.
If you commute by bus from Tbilisi , you should ask the driver to stop near the sign of Qumlistsikhe. Our house is on the left side of the road. If it happens you get out next to Smart supermarket (pretty much in the center of Gudauri), you will need to go back down the road 500 meters (in this case, our home will be on the right side of the road, 20 meters after the sign Qumlistsikhe).
How best to get to Gudauri?
Kutaisi & Tbilisi airport transfers
We cooperate with company Georgian Bus, a solid partner providing shuttle transfers from Kutaisi and Tbilisi. You can order a group transfer (min 3 passengers) with good price and no hidden costs. We demand no deposit - you simple pay to the driver. Refer to amount of people cars may be: minivan – up to 8 passengers, or microbus – up to 18. Both cars has special trunks to put ski/snowboard equipment, so you travel in comfort. It takes 5-6 hours to get to Gudauri from Kutaisi and up to 3 hours from Tbilisi.
Kutaisi Airport has a direct bus to Gudauri (called GeorgianBus). Their schedule can be found on
Tickets are 50 Lari one way (about $30). Cheaper option - get to Tbilisi, and then later to Gudauri. The cost of a ticket to Tbilisi is 20 Lari (about $12), and the Tbilisi-Gudauri transfer costs 10 Lari. But in this case there is a strong likelihood that it is necessary to spend the night in Tbilisi as buses to Gudauri run only until 5 pm.
Another option - take a taxi outside the airport. Passenger car will cost 250-300 Lari, Coach - 300-350 Lari (prices are per car). But be prepared to haggle!
Total cost - from 30 to 50 Lari per person (from $17 to $30)
From Tbilisi airport to the city center can be reached by bus number 37 (ticket price - 50 Tetri). It goes to the central train/train station. You need to reach Didube metro station, and from there catch a bus to Gudauri (7 Lari/person).
A taxi from Tbilisi to Gudauri costs about $100 per car.
